The Technica Next Generation Internet Protocol (NGIP) Team is equipped and dedicated to meeting customer needs in planning, designing, implementing and operating network-centric information systems based IPv6 technology. The NGIP team has a solid understanding of IP and is familiar with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) efforts to develop transition mechanisms which can enable IPv4 and IPv6 interoperability. Our strength lies in our engineering methodologies, technical ability and an understanding of IPv6 protocol development. Some of the biggest challenges facing network managers are:

  • Interoperability - Enabling IPv6 and IPv4 hosts to interoperate during migration
  • Incremental Deployment - Allowing IPv6 hosts and routers to be deployed on public networks in a phased fashion
